The Paper Mill Food appoints new General Manager

We are delighted to share that The Paper Mill Food has appointed a new General Manager, Chris Matters. Chris will oversee all venue operations including a fabulous relaunch of Firepit at the end of September.

Chris joins our team with an impressive resume, having worked for some of Australia’s major hospitality brands including Merivale, QT Hotels & Resorts and most recently, Star Casino.

Chris places a strong emphasis on building positive relationships with the community. This has stemmed from some of his fondest hospitality experiences whereby a personal connection has been established with a venues operators. This is the exact motivation for the next phase of The Paper Mill Food, building strong connection with – and between – people.

Chris will be making a number of exciting additions to our venue and has a fabulous – and very knowledgeable – team that is growing quickly.
